چکیده
The Achemmach region is located 40 km to the SW from Meknes city and 6 NE frm Hammam mine. It part of Paleozoic massif Central Morocco. studied area formed by two rock-types: (i) a meta-sedimentary sequence composed Middle Visean limestone shale-sandstone withflyschoid Upper Visean-Namurian age, (ii) magmatic rock series represented volcanic rocks (pillow-lavas), hypovolcanic (dolerites) olivine-bearing gabbros.Based on emplacement model, structural framework, relative chronology petrogeochemistry rocks, for first time in this we distinguish: dm m-sized greenish pillow-lavas, with sharp borders radius fractures underlined fine pelitic sedimentary intercalations, indicating recurrent activity short episodes. Plagioclases pyroxenes (augite) microlites, more rarely phenocrystals, are recognizable glassy matrix devoid olivine. Deformed, metamorphosed altered dolerites dikes intrude formations. They have an overall NE-SW direction NW dip. sericitized plagioclases, associated partially totally amphibolitized pyroxenes, tourmaline differentdegrees chlorite substitution, rutile opaque minerals, microliticmesostasis (iii) gabbros, outcropping variable dimensions (a few meters 20 m). gabbros granular texture mainly made olivine, titanite, rutile, apatite minerals. All igneous minerals undergone different degrees replacement secondary minerals; plagioclases albitized, epidotized olivine serpentinized chloritized. Thepetro-geochemical study these bodies demonstrates that pillow-lavas basalts alkaline affinity, while thought transitional affinity (alkaline-tholeiitic). Therefore, formations would been set up anorogenic intra-continental geodynamic context, corresponding basin magmatism little evolved opening.

Late orogenic carboniferous extensions in the Variscan French Massif Central
The Variscan French Massif Central experienced two successive stages of extension from Middle Carboniferous to Early Permian. In the northern Massif Central, the first stage began in the late Visean, immediately after nappe stacking, and is well recorded by NamurianWestphalian synkinematic plutonism. The Middle Carboniferous leucogranites widespread in the NW Massif Central (Limousin and Sioule...
متن کاملThe mafic rocks along the North Tabriz Fault, possible remnants of Neo-Tethys oceanic crust in NW Iran
The North Tabriz Fault is seismologically an active fault with current right lateral strike-slip movements. Restricted mafic to intermediate Late Cretaceous igneous rocks are exposed along the North Tabriz Fault. Whole rock samples and clinopyroxene phenocrysts geochemistry were studied in order to characterize the petrogenesis of these mafic rocks and their possible relation to an oceanic crus...
متن کاملGeochemical heterogeneity and element mobility in deeply subducted oceanic crust; insights from high-pressure mafic rocks from New Caledonia
Bulk-rock major and trace element geochemistry of a range of eclogite, garnet blueschist and garnet amphibolite rocks from northern New Caledonia has been determined in order to geochemically characterise subducted oceanic crust. The rocks experienced peak metamorphic conditions of 1.9 GPa and 600 jC and represent excellent samples of oceanic crust that was subducted to depths of approximately ...

متن کاملMorphotectonics investigations of the Garehbagh basin area based on morphometric indices, NW Iran
Morphotectonic investigations were carried out by the use of morphometric indices which serve as a tool of identification in regions with active tectonic warp. Landforms in active deformation area are produced from relations of tectonic and surficial processes. One of the most significant landforms underground is rivers that are extremely responsive to tectonic movements mainly uplift and tilti...
